Stress Relieving
Stress Relieving is a process that is used to remove stress build-ups that occur during various methods of manufacturing. There are many manufacturing processes that cause this build-up; forging, stamping, welding, grinding, shearing, milling, and the actual steel making process to name a few.
Removing these stresses is a very important function of the manufacturing process. This step often gets overlooked because of time or budget constraints. But, if too much stress build-up occurs, the result is usually and expensive repair or replacement.
MPD Welding, Inc. has two stress relieving vessels, with a maximum capacity of 264" Deep x 114" Wide x 72" High, and a maximum load weight of 200,000 LB.
